what is the bloodiest anime you know?

No question about it, the answer is very simple for me: Elfen Lied is definetly the bloodiest anime i've seen. It was just... umm... how should i put it?... Like if you had to turn it into a movie, you'd have to get one hundred 20 tonnes trucks filled with artificial blood in order to have all the scenes as bloody as they are in the anime. I'll say this again: Elfen Lied is the only anime that i've fully watched and didn't like.

Yoko-chan, you nailed it. I liked it, however, not an anime where I'm an avid fan or would randomly want to watch to chill, it's depressing (sigh).

That's where i'm different. i love that anime. But then again... I have always prefered blood and gore over romance. I'm just a freak like that Elfien Lied is definitely at the top of my list. I mean yeah it is depressing but I love it!

I think alot of people would. But for me, I do like romances don't get me wrong but i can only take so much of it. Dunno just how it's always been for me...

I still can't believe that it was an anime that yoko fully watched and didn't like it ... I usually dont (not like ) animes but if I don't like it I tend to just stop watching it

I try to give the anime the chance to prove itself worthy of being watched but if i'm just not getting into it I won't watch it.

Yeah me too but sometimes it takes me a bit longer to get into the anime. So I give it a chance to prove itself to me.

I'm the same as Zero. I'll take romance over gore anytime. Things with Elfen Lied were really weird. I mean, if i don't like an anime, i simply stop watching. However, when watching Elfen Lied, for some reason i couldn't stop. I mean i kept thinking maybe something good would still come out of it... I was honestly disappointed. I do have 3 animes that i've started and didn't finish, but i did like them. There was Fushigi Yuugi (i've seen so many episodes of it and i really liked it and was in to it, but for some reason, i dropped it...), then Jigoku Shoujo (even tho i promissed myself i'd finish it someday) and then there was Code-E (the second season of Mission-E; i liked the first season, but i found the second one a bit boring so i dropped it). Despite all that, i did finish Elfen Lied even tho i didn't like it! And Elfen Lied is the only anime i can say that i didn't like. I usually like all animes i see...

Yeah I have had that happen to me a couple times.

I loved elfien lied maybe gore keeps my attention better than most romances. With samurai x being the exception. Elfien Lied I found to be one of my favorites. But, Trinity Blood definitely trumps Elfien Lied though. Lex's personality is alot like father nightroads. it's rather amusing

I heard Claymore is kinda of gory, is it?

I haven't ever seen claymore I guess it's a possibility...

Well earlier today I looked it up and I decided I'm probably not going to watch it. lol

I think I've seen the first episode but somehow (...!) I didn't continue. Atm, I'll keep on watching Gintama.
