Exactly.Iru wrote:Yes, it Brotherhood was made to stick to the manga. I myself just have a few volumes of the manga and haven't checked them online yet, but I'm certain that it is so, that's why there was lot of excitement when announced.
Iru wrote:Well, it's a bit late (last posted in July) but they are finally streaming this here and I must say: this is awesomeness. TGM, you're so right. Definitely on my top, if not the top(!)
I have to praise all who audaciously advanced with the project to do a second adaptation. I'm grateful~
I haven't finished the first anime adaptation but the second surpasses it. First and mainly because it follows the plotline. Due to this and sagacity from the crew, this version is much more well organised and polished. You won't miss anything for not watching the first version.
I think I'm currently at episode 31 or 34... can't remember anymore. On the Briggs Fort it was. (sigh) I really should watch them periodically, or else I need to rewatch the ones I don't remember.
Anyway, it was a good surprise to see Miyano Mamoru as Ling, he's a character who caught my eye, excused is to say the voice actor befits him.
- Spoiler:
About favourite parts (excuse my memory), I really liked the moment after Ed, Envy and Ling get out of Gluttony and Ed sees Al's body but is grabbed to the Gate and then reappears and tells him he'll come back to get him, I wasn't expecting that. Still a bit puzzled with Al's response since his soul was on Earth, but anyway.

Oh, didn't see that one coming! Even though I think my sister warned me...
Yes, I'm definitely enjoying it. (smile) You did well with the persistence.
I just discovered they are producing a new movie: Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei naru Hoshi.
