I believe manga does most of the work for advertising their art in japan. it always comes out before the anime and starts the idea in a city or state. then anime comes around and every body knows about it. but when u talk to someone about the manga, they never notice this new art piece. But now when u talk about the anime of this manga, everyone knows the anime for some odd reason!! could it be the TV, the marketing technique or what? why does the anime recieve all the credit??

Because when the anime is put out for marketing, they advertise it online, on posters, on back of mangas. But for the mangas they only get the back of ther mangas for advertisement. Either that or you have the manga on your own in bookstores. Anime is a little more open.

Well you can believe that but my theory is its art style and formation. the anime art is clear, smooth, connected and colorful. with manga a little less color but much more artistic then anime, if you ask me.
