Re: manga artist??
hey aimi-dno
i can answer that for you. to become a manga artist you must first have an idea or plan on what your manga would feature. then you must figure out if you have the skill to draw like a manga artist. thats up to you on how you want to figure that out. you also need to make samples of your work to show off and once you have a plan about your manga, you also need to start to sketch it out. plan every little step of each character, decided on the point of view your character needs in order to keep the viewer happy. then draw! Draw out page by page, maybe day by day. its up to you, but you must stay focused on all the hard work. you also need to use the computer alot in order to become a pro manga artist. you will need to learn all about the digital world, like tones, half tones and shading. i would say the best place to start with all that is deviant art. but once you have all your pages scanned, and your plot to its max, you will be ready to compile your work into an actual manga. i dont know much about printing manga's but if you scan, ink, and tone your pages on the computer you will be on your way. then you must advertise it! go on facebook, myspace, and create a website all about your manga. host it there and your on your way!
I know alot about this because i tried but i was more concerned with the time and hard work part so i couldn't go through with it. i felt it was to much for me at the time.
But i believe if you have the time and the passion you can make it all come true!
You can also find on google sites that relate to this if you search for "webcomics"
